Oil filters

I've never had that problem with a Mann or a Mahle filters. I always clean the flange and lightly oil the seal. Another side note the 20vt use Mahle filter OC 264 not OC 47 which is for the 7A the spring inside the filter is in a different spot. Mann filter is 719/30 I'd say you just got a bad filter.
