leather repair?

hi all,

i'm looking for a relatively simple fix-it for the cracked driver's seat in my 1991 audi 200q20v. i'm still searching for either a good replacement driver's seat (black sport seat) or any black audi leather seat from a 100 or 200 to get the hide from (can be from the seat back as well).

but in the meantime, i'd like to temporarily fix it. are any of those leather glue/repair things worth a damn? i'm even thinking crazy glue leather adhesive for now. i just want to stop the crack form gettting worse.
