Does the V8 MC fit our cars? What does rebuilding mine entail?

Oh and I still don't know if a V8 MC works in our cars....
I looked on car-part.com and found them for as cheap as $20.

You assume that you need a kit, wrong! Just take the SOB apart and
clean it up, BTDT.
