I'm in the Midwest and our weather is waaaaay worse than yours...I'm joking, comparable temp-wise I suspect. I use 10w40 in winter, Syntec. What have you done the previous 17 winters?
Put snows on today, Hankook Winter I-Pikes, wonderful snow tire IMO

For those of you living in the Northeast, what weight of oil do you
use? I've been using 15-50 full synthetic Red LIne, but I'm tempted
to make a change and run a lighter weight in my '91 200 20 v.
Although Red Line is pricey, I'll probably stick with it. It has not
been much of an issue in the past since I was using the car so little
but now I need it much more often, especially with the upcoming move
from NYC to southern VT. I've just passed the 130K mark (and I've had
the 200 since new) and I plan to see more than twice that amount of
mileage before I'm done with this car. Thanks. Scott
