Sway Bar Bushings on '90 20tq

Claus,

Not at all as you describe. Plenty of ways like adjusting the maps for better
efficiency and other means that should not be considered as a hack.

All I was suggesting, is that from the factory, the 3B tuning tended to be more of a
"gas guzzler" than the CIS setup on earlier versions. One would expect with the 20v
head, better flow, better intercooler, Sequential Electronic Fuel Injection, dual knock
sensors, Dual Exhausts, and so on, that the car could have been better on economy than
the older 10V engines using CIS.

I have been able to get better economy and power out of mine, so this is not merely
academic.

Ben

Please how ? Fouling some sensors or what ?
You can change chips for higher boost and the fuel chip have to be changed at the same
time, but I have never heard about possibilities to change the fuel economy.

A resistor soldered in series with the lambda could give a lower (fat'er) reading
forcing the ECU to lean out ?

? Claus
