stuck seat belt

Ok, so the rear seat is folded down and you want to return it to upright
position. I still don't know anything about the typ44 avant folding seat
specifically, but can you get to the reel of the offending seatbelt (must be
one of the outboard/shoulder belts right?) and try to feed in a little to
get out a little, slowly? I have an 88 Golf with folding seat where the
shoulder reels are fixed in place, so I don't see how they could hold down
the seatback; and an 05 A4 avant where the shoulder belts are integrated
into the folding part of the seat, so I don't think that could hold down the
seatback either. Where are the reels located on your avant?
