Robby: That pigtail boot is a guaranteed headache. It seems that over
time there is no way to prevent the seepage that collects in the boot and
corrupts the connectors. The last time I replaced the multi malfunction
sensor I put on new spade connectors, and instead of using the boot, I
simply put a short length of radiator hose around the sensor with a hose
clamp. Now, any seepage runs over the hose and drips clear of the
connectors. It's not a tough job but is an absolute fix.
