winter tires

Winter tires burn up pretty fast in the summer. Plus they may be a bit
soft for you suspension.

I run Nokian RSI's in the winter, on a 15" 6.5 inch UR quatto rim off a
1985 far better than the Blizzaks I had before. When you figure your wear
cost per mile the tire cost does not matter over time. Used winter wheels
you should be able to find for 20-$25 used, I live in Minnesota and my summer
Bridgstone RE 950 or 930 (cant remember) 17" (2000 S4 rims) really suck
when its slippery. If your going to drive the car a few years and live where
there is a "real winter" dig into your wallet, you won't regret it.

Gotta buy new tires because my current ones are bald and it sucks to be
slippin and sliding like everyone. I am definitely going to get all season
ones ( I had posted an earlier comment about this), due to the fact that i
cant afford to buy a set for winter now and then another set once it gets
warmer. If by some chance i come into some money, how bad is it to run winter
tires when there isnt any snow? Do they wear down faster or are they just
not meant to go fast with?
