Anyone selling?

Hi guys,
Thanks for the input! I appreciate the advice about getting a car
from a non-salt state. I was actually looking at an '89 200tq from
Mass. a month or so ago, and although the interior and exterior were
near-perfect, one picture of the engine bay (corrosion everywhere)
convinced me that the undercarriage was probably suffering too.
Fortunately the 200q20v on top of the list right now is an AZ car that
spent some time in Oregon too and has been garaged most of its life,
so corrosion should be a non-issue. Still plan to get someone local
to check it out.
Ned, I appreciate the heads-up about your car; unfortunately, the wife
has vetoed white (and all forms of white) cars.
Steve, I'm in Winston-Salem, actually, so I'm familiar with Oak Ridge.
If I get one it'd be nice to get up sometime.
My wife is pushing for a B5 A4... I'm working hard to convince her a
200q20v is the way to go, but the newer, more "modern" (her word)
looking car may win out in the end.
Will keep you posted.
