oil pressure at idle

Robby -

Here's my two cents: oil pressure is good, that is, 1.5 bar at idle is fine, especially when the needle pegs when you go above say 1000 rpm.

My 200q20v has about 215K miles on it. The oil pressure readings have been much like yours for the past 100K miles. The car uses more oil now than it used to, maybe a quart every 2K miles, but there is no apparent smoking and California smog tests are always passed. I use Mobil 1 10W-30.
