oil pressure at idle

I've used the Bosch for years. If I run 10/30 then my pressure drops below 2 at idle. I use 15/50 M1 and have about 2 at idle and 4.5->5 at higher RPMs. Tried the 10/30 once for winter - made the vale train very noisy so I didn't run it very long.

Oil filters can cause that...
I only use Mann filters - after seeing exactly what you're describing with a Fram.
And yes, the oil weight could also be the issue - these motors are extremely sensitive to this.
Good luck!
