Re-installing '91 200 TQ 20v distributor cap trick did work.

Getting very close now to sorting out all of the nightmare problems on this "no-start" car.   The tip one of you gave me on the re-install of the distributor cap worked like a charm.  Pulling on the distributor cap clip by an assistant with baling wire while pushing the clips in place worked slick.

Removing the engine rpm sending unit was a bit of hack work.  Using a LP torch to try and expand the aluminum cast bracket didn't work because the heat got to the rubber and started to melt it, and I didn't want to ruin the 2nd sender on the same bracket.  So I used a Dremel cutoff wheel to cut off most of the old bad sender, then an air hammer to push out the remains of the sender left in the aluminum bracket.
