My recommendation is to pass on the offer. Nigerian scammers in the
UK (and elsewhere) routinely peruse online parts wanted sites,
offering whatever you are looking for. About a month ago, I had a
fellow in the UK offered to sell me a hard to find part that I was
looking for. I had listed my wanted item on a BMW motorcycle list. I
sensed a scam and passed on the offer. I spent three years working in
Nigeria, many years ago. From that experience, I learned that no one
is too smart not to be fooled. I'd be cautious. And no, I've never
heard of Francis Bacon, purveyor of auto parts.
