steering rack install question

interesting mike. i was thinking about that - but wondered if the magic goo 
would screw up the PS pump or the associated hoses?

Robby - one of my 200q's had a leaking rack - about  a cup every 1k or so miles. 
I added some power steering sealer and it quit  leaking within a matter of days. 

 
I know - they say don't use anything besides  Pentosin or you might damage the 
rack - so what? Nothing to lose. I also use the  Castrol (I think - might be 
lucas) equivalent of pentosin - much cheaper.

that's what i thought - i think my shop was trying to find  an excuse not to do 
the job. the leak isn't super bad right now - but it  ain't great  either.
