There is a writeup on the internet of the IC repair. You might still be able
to get a new one from Audi, but I can't imagine the price they would want
for it. If you just want to pull it and have it repaired, I'd bet there are
guys on the list that would be willing to do that for you.

The stock radio has two possibilities. If it's the standard radio, I'm not
sure you can still get them new. IF it's the Boxe system, check on
Audipartssuperstore.com. They used to have those for the 200 and V8 for $25
refurbished.
