Only the Bose will work then. The Bose system uses seperate amplifiers in
each of the speakers, none in the doors. You will have to run new speaker
wire if you choose to replace the factory system correctly.
I have one of those $25 radio's in my V8, so no, it's not too good to be
true. However, they may have sold out, that was years ago when I bought
mine.
BTW, I had to do the repair on my V8 Q instrument cluster (they are slightly
different, but similar nonetheless) and Mine worked great ever since I got
it right. However, it took four times for that result :( In the end I
resoldered every major connection, and that's what fixed it.
