That’s a good test.
More likely not opening, If you can feel/hear it clicking, it must be  
opening but may be plugged up.
If stuck open you’d be running raw gas into the exhaust, with  
resulting backfiring.

Have you cleared and checked the ECU for error codes?
Run the ECU Output Checks diagnosis on the injectors.
See SJM Auto-Technik web site for best instructions.
Each injector should click 5 times during this test.
The injector has an inlet screen which could be clogged.

I may have a set of injectors, don’t remember now. Let me know if you  
need.
