Straw Poll: How Dependable is Your 200q20v?

Mine never needed a tow in 13 years/50k mi, although it was not my daily
driver except when my "real" daily driver (88 GTI - 14 years/169k mi) was
"down". I may have purchased a battery and some tools away from home in the
early years, and didn't drive it much while waiting for a favorable time to
replace pump-to-rack PS hose. Other maintenance items (the famous plastic
heater valve, for instance, along with heater core/hvac fan) were also done
on my schedule knowing I had another car to drive.

Henry
now "moved on" to competent and pretty but somewhat low-personality A4
avant. Stock 2.0T is quite nice but it's no chipped 3B.
