Mike, I installed a HID plug and play kit on my 200 about 2 1/4 years ago (I believe 7000K) & I couldn't be more pleased with the results, much more light than Euro H4s, I no longer have High Beams although I don't miss them.
I have only been "Flashed" by other drivers a handful of times in that time period.
The only negative side effect is that the start-up voltage surge of the lights screw with the climate control.
So all I need to do is turn the key & lights on, let them warm-up for about 10 seconds before starting the engine...

Has any tried the VVME or DDM HID kits in the 91 200q? If they work as
well in the 200 as they do in the 95 S6, it might be a worth while
upgrade over stock headlights. Although two flashlights and duct tape
would be an upgrade to stock.
