Airbag clock spring or later model steering wheel that will work...

One might wonder just how many 21 year old airbags will still work when
needed - as they are only supposed to be good for 10 years. Although I
think that has been raised to 12.

I did get to test airbag deployment in a 91 200q in 2003 - and it
worked, but wasn't really needed. I sustained some good chemical burns
on my thumbs from the airbag.

As for options - remove the light bulb :-) My current 200q has had the
light on for 3 years or so and I just don't worry about it. I am not
sure but maybe the UrS4 or UrS6 steering wheels might fit - but a decent
S6 steering wheel will set you back about $250.
