Remove dash? No way! Glove box maybe but that is a PITA in itself. Removing just the upper dash pad wouldn't help either. Here is a cut away of the dash pad removal on the V8 pretty much the same thing except for the strip in front of the cluster no being removable on the V8.

But again you would only want to remove the glovebox and maybe the passenger side seat.
