Antenna adapter for dual diversity?

They are both FM antennas (that's why it is "diversity") but only one (the
rear one I believe) is also good for AM. I think I just plugged the rear
cable into my 1997-era Kenwood without any adapter, worked fine for FM and I
never listened to AM anyway although it worked as good as any car AM radio.

You really just need the fm antenna.

Subject: Antenna adapter for dual diversity?

I've put an aftermarket head unit in my 200q20v, but I don't yet have an
antenna adapter. Noting that the factory (was Bose) system has two
antennas, I want to confirm that the adapter I need is one such as this:

http://www.discountcarstereo.com/BAADIN2F.html

These are described as dual FAKRA adapters, with FAKRA apparently being the
connector company, along the lines of Delphi, Framatome, Molex, etc. The
plug from the antennas is different from the more common antenna plug that
the (Clarion circa 2005) head unit I'm using.

Could anyone please confirm that the antenna adapter I linked is the correct
one to properly use both antennas in the 200q20v?

Another version with a single plug is here: http://amzn.com/B004S6QJEI.

Thanks!

Kenneth
