Not a big fan

Hi all-

First, have not had a chance to go back for more parts on the salvaged 20v
avant since I last wrote. To the fellow that wanted the UFOs, please give
me a $ amount and I will ship the whole strut to you (x2) from San
Francisco. They want $80 per strut, so $300 shipped seems fair to me,
depending on how much shipping is. The wiper switch and steering wheel were
already gone. The rear wiper motor is still there. The back seats are black
and in good shape, as is the wagon floorboard. Door panels are good and
Bose speakers are intact, though head unit questionable.

Now...... My Avant was sitting for 3 months while I tore out the cooling
system and upgraded to silicon hoses. For anyone doing this, use vaseline.
A trick I took from the medical world. Car is good, but now no heater fan.
Grrrrr. Fuses are good. Do any of you good men or women know if there is a
relay for the heater fan?
