Not a big fan

Adam, I don't recall any relay for the blower fan, although you can quickly check for power & ground at the connector that plugs directly into the left side end of the blower motor, there is the electronic fan speed control module that drops down into the top of the evaporator case (when out and upside-down it resembles a grouping of Hotels in Downtown Miami).
I also recall late 5000s, 100s & 200s having a pair of round multi-pin electrical connectors just inside the left side of the center console  above carpet, one of those connectors was know for "Frying" one of it's spade connections that feed the blower motor circuit.

Hope this helps

Hi all-

First, have not had a chance to go back for more parts on the salvaged 20v
avant since I last wrote. To the fellow that wanted the UFOs, please give
me a $ amount and I will ship the whole strut to you (x2) from San
Francisco. They want $80 per strut, so $300 shipped seems fair to me,
depending on how much shipping is. The wiper switch and steering wheel were
already gone. The rear wiper motor is still there. The back seats are black
and in good shape, as is the wagon floorboard. Door panels are good and
Bose speakers are intact, though head unit questionable.

Now...... My Avant was sitting for 3 months while I tore out the cooling
system and upgraded to silicon hoses. For anyone doing this, use vaseline.
A trick I took from the medical world. Car is good, but now no heater fan.
Grrrrr. Fuses are good. Do any of you good men or women know if there is a
relay for the heater fan?

Thank you,

doc
