You can quickly check the wires at night. Look for arcing dry and then wet. Can identify a problem.

I recently replaced some of my boost hoses and the crankcase breather with some 034 silicone. I tend not to suspect an intake/boost leak, and am more suspicious of the ignition system. The O2 sensor is pretty new, and I think the plugs might be pretty fresh as well (F5DPOR), but the cap/rotor/wires are not. I still don't have a handy boost leak testing setup, but want to someday.
