The wet portion would kind of lead me to ignition! Look real good at the cap
and rotor. If it was running I would look for arcing at night. Maybe have
someone crank it while examining wires and cap area. Have seen issues with
Bosch caps under the black cover also. Obviously check for spark.. No spark,
no fire.
Had an issue with my 200 20v bucking under high boost conditions after
installing ecu chip. Plugs were pretty new, so counted them out (proper
plugs). Learned to live with it after going through and replacing almost
everything. Almost 100k later decided to change plugs as they were due.
Well, turned out a plug was bad all along. Was fine up to about 15 lbs of
boost, but would crap out after that.
For those still running the F5DPOR plugs they're still (were) available
through NAPA
Once again, my guess is ignition (wet!).
Check for spark..
