[A4] airbag experience

I had the airbag light come on for my airbag, same as described.  My
local dealer (of all people!!) suggested contact cleaner before
replacing the airbag.  Did the trick, under $100 if I recall correctly
(mostly just labor to remove and install the steering wheel to access
the connectors).

Give it a shot.
