[A4] broken lumbar support

Hey guys-
I'll be surprised if anybody has any experience with this, but here goes...  I have a '98 A4 1.8Tq with sport seats - I keep the lumbar support maxed out to max support.  This morning I was adjusting while in the seat, in essence pushing back, and there was "pop" and movement in the seat.  No more lumbar support.  The adjuster spins with no effect.

Anybody have any BTDT or advice or anything?
