I have had a GIAC chip in my car since about 8k miles. I have never
had a problem with mis-fires. When the X-Chip became available, I had
that installed. I am fairly certain my boost pressures are ni the
"high" range. I do not have a boost gauge, though.
However, after my 40K service I did notice a fairly major "peppy-ness"
return to my car with a fresh set of spark plugs.
