if your chipped its better to go with -1 colder over stock, copper plugs  
work better and give less heat/detonation, im running the copper NGKs for 7k  
miles now? car runs much smoother and has better power

I have  heard from various people that the 1.8t is very picky about the
spark plugs  you can and can not use.  Many people just say to stick
with the OEM  plugs to minimize problems.
