[A4] 962.8Q Stalling in cold weather

Try cleaning the Idle Stabilizing Valve (ISV) with carb cleaner.  This is a common problem on the B3 90q20v and CoupeQ cars, see here:

I'm not familar with the V6, but this is a good starting point.  HTH.
