[A4] I'm puzzled

Which is not an uncommon occurence.  I was doing a little research in my bently manual, just trying to figure out the following.
  1.  Electronic differential lock- what year was it offered from?  and...

2.  If my car has electronic differential lock, what ABS unit is is going to have?... 

I ask this because I apparently have an abs unit that's not pictured in the bently manual.  They cover Bosch abs 5.0 and 5.3, neither of the control units looks like mine.  I thought my old bently (prior to updating to ver. 2.5) had info on the two, including which one had EDL and which one didn't.   Can anybody straighten me out?  If it helps, my ABS unit has six hyd connections on the FRONT, all of them on the front, and none on the top. I would have gotten the part number, but it was cold and I didn't feel like standing out there any longer.
