[A4] Fading display

On my car, a '98.5, the original owner had the cluster replaced 2 or 3 times
under warranty. It was fine for a while but then it started to fade on me
around year 4 (2002). The dealer again replaced it under warranty, despite
being out of warranty. It's a known issue. I have had no issues since. I
was told Audi came up with better electronics for the display. But who
knows.....

Because it's a known issue you may be able to persuade the dealer to help
you out....

Brandon
