[A4] Fading display

im sure if you guys got a wire diagrahm or tested with a voltmeter before  
you removed the display wire harness plug, you could lable the 12v+  neg,  and 
display +, and take the unit to your local stereo/tv repair shop and maybe  its 
just a $40 fix like a resistor that go's bad, cant be anything to  serious

I wish I could come up w/ a logical solution though.  I  really do like the
display, and is very helpful, but I don't think it's  worth spending $200-300
for the part and then the labor to R&R.   Until someone comes up with a
solution, I guess I'll be enjoying it in the  winter months... ;)
