[A4] New car considerations

Same as my 98 A4 2.8Q, about 21-23 on Houston roads -
mine's an auto, FWIW.  The only reason I recommended
the A3 is the price - the A4s are just too much now. 
But if you really need the cargo room, I don't know
what to say (perhaps "Sportwagon"??).  But mileage
will be the same with this - they don't have a four
available over at BMW.
