i've been chipped for most of my 67k miles, with APR, and have
had no mechanical issues. all my issues are other expensive bullshit,
like the auto-dimming rear view mirror failing, the display in the dash,
etc. the mirror isn't warrantied (i am still under extended warranty)
as the dealer is interpreting it as "glass" which is not covered.

not a peep out of the engine, though, and i drive the piss out
of the car.
