[A4] Front Bumper's Valance and Under-engine Shroud on B5 1.8T q

Hmmm...there _should_ be a plastic belly pan/shroud installed on the bottom
of the engine. It runs from the valance to the rear of the transmission (I
think) and from fender to fender. It's a 3' x 5' square of molded plastic
that protects the bottom of the engine. If it's not there, and you didn't
take it off (on purpose :) then yea, your sphincter tightening did not go as
planned.
It's not biggie though. It's not required and I have been running without
mine for several months trying to track down an oil leak. I don't know how
much they cost, but it's probably a dealer only item. :(
