[A4] Cruise Control Quit - 2002 A4 3.0

Had a similar problem with my 98 a4 after the clutch master cylinder was 
replaced and mechanic did not adjust it properly.  Switch is located on a 
bracket near the top of the clutch pedal arm--you have to remove the lower 
dash trim piece to gain access.  Connector with two wires to it can be 
pulled off--use a volt-ohm meter to check continuity with the clutch pedal 
in its resting position.  Simple threaded collar to adjust position.  Hope 
this helps.
