[A4] Yellow Snow

I too have noticed the "Yellow Snow" under our 2002 A4 1.8T Avant. I have
attributed it to the washer fluid that we use. It gets really cold here and
the super market washer fluid just doesn't work very well so we use Prestone
Deicer which is yellow. I works very well and has a very low freezing point.
I think that when you wash the windshield (which we do a lot because of the
salt on the roads) some of the washer fluid takes awhile to drain away from
the windshield and appears under the car after it is parked overnight. Could
that be the "Yellow Snow" effect? I haven't been able to come up with
another cause. And in our case there doesn't seem to be any other fluid
leaking and no stray cats.

Jim
