could whatever is leaking be reacting with the snow to make the crazy yellow
color?

hydraulic fluid would by my guess since it's usually gold-ish. cant imagine
your diff fluid would be neon?

altho that would be kinda cool.. you could put little neon lights in the
diff, maybe add a little window so you could see your gears turning. ooooo..
i think i invented the next import mod craze! - lighted neon diffs!

dont forget to check the blinker fluid and repack the muffler bearings while
youre on the hunt.
