[A4] Stumbling at low RPMs

Derek,

I know of two: Advanced European in Bothell and German Car Specialists in
Bellevue. For stealerships, I've had good work done both at Robert Larson in
Tacoma and University Audi in Seattle (45th & Roosevelt).

I had Advanced European replace the starter in my 1994 90S. It had failed
when the ignition switch got stuck in the start position and I didn't
notice... They replaced the starter fine, but couldn't replace the ignition
switch. They tried to replace it from below, but failed. The ignition switch
replacement procedure is outlined in the Bentley manual and is pretty easy.
It took me about half an hour to do. So I'm not real impressed by
Advanced...

German Car Specialists replaced the timing belt and associated pieces. They
were about 10-15% less expensive than the dealer. They did really nice work.
I have a high degree of confidence in the shop and their work. They have one
guy (Zacho if I recall correctly) dedicated to the Audi stuff. I'd do
business there again if need be.
