[A4] Overheating issue

naw, sounds like you caught it on time and didn't do any damage, i would
check your electric fan that comes on with the a/c and make sure your water pump
and thermostat are all working ok, let the car idle running for 30 mins or so
checking the temp gauge frequently, it shouldn't over heat, if it does you
have some issues

In my experience(Texas) i've never gotten my a4's oil temp above 250.
Are you certain it's the fan clutch and not the waterpump?
