[A4] Tie-down point on the front of an A4

Hello everyone, 

  I have an unusual question regarding my transport of my kayak on my 2006 A4. When you secure a kayak on the top of any vehicle, you usually secure it with straps to your roof rack and then use tie-down lines to the front and rear of the vehicle. On an A4, that's possible for the rear using the tow hook, but it appears that there is nothing to secure a tie-down line to the front. Has anyone by any remote chance ever addressed this issue? I feel comfortable not using a tie-down line when I travel to the local lake (reservoir,) but less comfortable heading on to the interstate and traveling at 65 - 75 mph. Any suggestions anyone?
