[A8] New to The List

Hi all,
I have been a V8 Quattro owner for the past 10 years or so. I recently upgraded to a 99 A8 Quattro. Pearl over Navy interior. In really great shape and I plan on keeping it for a long while. Quick question - I recently replaced the whole front suspension with a kit (all control arms, inner and outer tie rods, etc), replaced the outer CV joints and brakes. I also tightened the steering rack a little. The 'creaking' has gone away and the car rides smooth and tight. When the car is slightly in a corner and the suspension is just right there is a small 'Pop' from something under the drivers side - this sound was actually there before the suspension got replaced and I thought that would solve it - it did not. I'm kinda leaning toward the steering rack, but I just am not sure. All suspension bits are good and tight (and of course new) - the steering does not shake, has no real play in it. Nothing obvious is broken or loose. Could it be a motor
mount? Trans mount? Subframe bushing? Shock mount? Anything else? Thanks in advance and hope this list is as exciting as the V8 list has been for the last 10+ years!
