[A8] New to The List

The instructions with my upper control arm kit said to put weight on the suspension and then tighten.  I wasn't sure this was possible, so I followed the Bentley approach, which I did not feel was very accurate.  Once I had it together and verified you can tighten the upper control arm with the weight on the suspension, I loosened and re-tightened.

One of the upper control arms have to be set at the right position and
tightened before reinstalling the strut/spring assembly. It's in the
Bentley I think, and I believe it was in the instructions I got with my
control arm kit too.

what you are talking about when you mention the arm and strut?
