... for better or worse there are a lot of folks who paid that same ballpark
to buy Audi 5000/200 turbo quattros ... even the urquattro was $35K in the
early '80s.  Those folks took quite a bath ...  thanks in no small part to
60 Minutes ... and while I didn't buy a new Audi then I did buy an almost
new one right before the UI thing ...

... this allowed a lot of folks who probably did not meet Audi's target
demographic at the time to be able to enjoy the benefits of Vorsprung durch
Technik ...
