A cat back exhaust is a nice upgrade, you won't notice huge power gains, but
realistically you will pick up another 5 hp at 5krpm or so, and you'll notice
the motor revs more freely in the higher rpms. The best way to go is to do a
cam, 4kq header (if you don't have one), and the exhaust at the same time.
This will result in some good, noticeable gains, though your idle may be
lumpier and you might not pass smog depending what cam you have.
