Hi Arun,
I am going to tackle this job tomorrow.
I wonder if you could elaborate a little.
What would be the correct order for this job:
The center nut off, then the wheel off, then the caliper off, then the 12
point bolts at the inner CV joints, then the three 3 bolts on top of the
struts, then the ball joint nut, then the tie rod end bolt, and then
standing on the long bar ?
Please elborate. Thanks.

The job can be done without the special tool, but it's a bit more
effort. You take the entire strut out, and take it to any local shop
with a press, and they'll press the old one out and the new one in.
The only difficult part of this procedure is separating the lower
control arm ball joint from the strut: a long enough lever with me
standing on the end of it has always worked for me.
