[ba] wacky intercooler question

I remember that when turbos were the new hot thing and then  
intercoolers were the new hot thing that is was stated that an  
intercooler on a NA engine was not worth the cost/effort.

But now that used intercoolers are all around I'm wondering if there  
might actually be a small improvement to fitting one to an old NA  
engine. Since I have the Original Stone Age CIS there are no upgrades  
I can make other than maybe the intercooler.

I get enough performance bounce from cold weather that I'm thinking  
along those lines and posting so you can reply that I am better off  
spending my dough on something more worthwhile, like strippers or  
something.
