[ba] 82-85 coupe shift linkage source?

Say folks,

the shift linkage on my 82 Coupe failed and it is stuck in 3rd. Does  
anyone have an leads on where I might find parts or a replacement?

I spoke with Force5 and Chris said most of the bushings and other  
parts would be dealer only and I'm sure they will not have anything  
good to say time-wise.

Haven't got under there to suss it all out but thought I'd check here  
before spending much time. If I can't find parts it's a moot point as  
to which ones I would need.
